David Mann
Let me introduce myself. My name is David Mann. Working in the construction field for over 23 years, I have experience in all forms of the building trade from commercial to basic residential to multi-million dollar projects.
I have many years experience as a building inspector and have certification with ICC (International Code Council)
as a Combination Dwelling Inspector-Uniform Codes. I used this certification where Iworked in a small northern California city where I gained extensive experience in designing and remodeling of the cities' municipal buildings
that were not ADA compliant. This, unlike new construction, takes a lot of creativity because of the limited space
you have to work with, but I must say that in my experience there is always a way.
As for my family life, I am married to my wife Kim and she has 3 children Andrew, Amanda and Steven. We also have two dogs Louie, an Australian Cattle Dog who is my best friend and Tilly, a Pug. In my spare time I enjoy hiking, fly fishing, golfing, cycling, riding my trials bike but most of all going to the race track for an exhilarating day on my Honda CBR 1000 sport bike.

Mike Gardner
My name is Mike Gardner. Was licensed in 1984 as a General Contractor and have built many homes in the Tahoe and Plumas County area in the past 26 years. My wife and I bought a restaurant in 1994 and learned the hard lessons of business governed by Federal, State and County taxes, regulations and labor laws. Also, I learned the importance of ADA compliance. At present there are several attorneys in the States who go about the countryside looking for unsuspecting business people that they can prey upon. Because of the number of lawsuits, in the thousands in California alone, I decided to obtain a Certified Access Specialist (CASp) license from the State of California. What this has enabled our company to do is inspect and give business owners a certificate from the State of California which allows them to have time to fix issues they may have in meeting ADA requirements in a timely manner without being forced into a lawsuit by attorneys on the prowl. I was the 154th licensee in the State of California. Am proud of what I can do for you. If we can keep you out of court we have done our job.
In my spare time I enjoy time with my Indian friends in the Dana area learning about their history and way of life. My wife and I enjoy traveling and spending time on our property where we find sanctuary and our dog, cat, turtle, and chickens. Enjoy target shooting and reloading my own ammunition along with hiking, 4-wheeling and generally being outdoors.
